WORKS COMPLETED ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF BROADCASTING IN TUNELS ON THE A1 HIGRWAY OF CROATIAN MOTORWAYS Ltd.

Croatian Motorways Ltd. have signed the Contract for broadcasting works in the tunnels on the A1 highway under our management, necessary for the realization of the Crocodile 3 Croatia project.

The subject of the project is the reconstruction and functional upgrade of the existing radio broadcasting system in the tunnels, in order to enable re-enimation of the TETRA radio signal of the MUP.net network in the tunnels. The ultimate goal of the project is to enable all users of the MUP.net TETRA network (police, ambulance, JVP, emergency services) to have safe and unified communication in the tunnel zone, all with the aim of improving traffic safety and faster response to an emergency.

Broadcasting works were carried out in the tunnels on the A1 highway, as follows: Mala Kapela, Brinje, Plasina, Grič, Sveti Rok, Konjsko, Kobiljača, Mali Prolog and Šubir.

The works were completed in 2022.

The value of the transport equipment is HRK 7,498,260.91 + VAT, and it is co-financed with a share of 85% by the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF).
